Rewind this camera about 11 years back!

I was 16 years old and a cashier/clerk at the Shaws located in Lower Mills. This was my afterschool part time job so I could earn enough for the newest Jordans! Akeem worked at the deli, measuring ham like no other, sike...he used to smile at me & take "breaks" when it wasn't his breaks, I was impressed by his demeanor and appreciate a man who would take risks to connect with me so eventually we got the chance to hang out and what can I say?...

11 years later he's been there with me through ups and downs, thick and thin, sickness and health-he's shown me love in ways unimaginable and I am the luckiest girl in the world to become his wife! I could not imagine going on this crazy love ride with anyone else.

The way she tells our story is not what I recall but let me just start by saying-shes right...

sort of. 

I was 19 years old and working in the deli at Shaws in Lower Mills. Of course I noticed her, she was cute but she used to pay particular attention to me-she swears I was taking the long way but really that was the way to the bathroom. I have to admit that seeing her on my way there wasn't the worse way to spend my time at work. 

11 years later, I don't regret a moment or that we still can't decide on who tried to talk to who first-but since that time we've decided to create a family, join our homes, committ our hearts and now join in matrimony.
